On Tuesday, march 31, beginning with 9 o’clock, the Agency for Innovation and Technology Transfer organized a public workshop on “Measures for Public Support to Innovation” with participation of international experts in this field.
In order to achieve efficient results in the implementation of obtained knowledge, to identify and to solve the most important problems in the field of science and innovation, at the event participated representatives of public administration, ministries, researchers, teachers, students and entrepreneurs. The workshop covered subjects as: mechanisms for public support to innovation, innovation management, neccesity to connect the research themes to the market needs and international trends in the field of innovation and technology transfer.
In their welcome speech, Mr. Fabien SCHAFFER, representative of the European Delegation in the Republic of Moldova, mentioned the importance of such workshops, round tables and informative seminare for developement the competitivenes of our country. At the same time, Mr. Vadim IATCHEVICI, main specialist at AITT, spoke about the posibility to acces the European grants, noting two projects: RERAM "Resource Efficiency and Raw Materials" and ENER2I "Energy research to innovation", financed through by the FP7 program.
Mrs. Carmen SILLERO, Head of Division Strategy and Programmes at Agency of Innovation and Development of Andalusia, Spain, spoke about the role of the development agancies in the management of the business innovation support systems; designing a policy mix of innovation delivery instruments for stimulating knowledge absorption and entrepreneurial dynamism; research and innovation strategies for smart specialisation RIS3 and cross-border cooperation project for improvinf knowledge absortion in agroindustry SMEs.
Mr. Viorel VULTURESCU from the National Authority for Scientific Research and Innovation from Romania, mentioned about the importance of market oriented research for the sustainable innovation development of the country. While, Mr. Marius MITROI from the Agency for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation, Romania, presented the mechanisms for monitoring and evaluation of the innovation systems. In the same context, were made a presentation on innovation management, clusters and economic competitiveness.
The workshop was organized with the financial support of European Commission through the Technical Assistance and Information Exchange instrument (TAIEX). The event was organized with the strengthen an effective dialogue between representatives of institutions involved in the development of innovations market for their cooperation in the future.
